If your time is at a premium, you can contribute to ACER’s work in other ways:
- Consider making a plot of land available for environmental study. Community volunteers will plant native species and do annual monitoring.
- Consider setting aside a hectare of your wood lot/forest ecosystem as a biodiversity monitoring plot as part of the national network.
- Make a financial donation. ACER relies on donations. Funds are applied to maintain existing programs and develop new initiatives to create citizen scientists; citizens who are able to make informed decisions on the future of the environment.
