Sophie Lu is the Planting for Change Program Coordinator. Sophie earned a master’s degree in Environmental Science from University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She has the expertise in environmental research, outdoor training and data analysis.
In 2010, Sophie did her internship at ACER and focused her research on forest regeneration. She published a report on regeneration in an urban maple beech forest, and proposed a common protocol to survey regeneration. She also worked for ACER’s Measure and Mulch Program after her internship.
